The logo, colours and type, ready to download.
For journalists, partners, event organisers and anyone putting Fabric's name next to theirs. Everything here is free to use for the purposes in the rules below. You do not need to ask first.
Zip, every file below in one archive. brand.json carries the same information for a script.
Logo
One wordmark, one mark, two grounds.
The wordmark is the Fabric mark, three nested arcs, followed by the name in capitals. It comes in white for dark grounds and black for light ones, and nothing else changes. The mark on its own is for a profile picture or a favicon, where the wordmark would be too small to read.
Clear space and size
Leave space around the logo of at least the height of the letter F in the wordmark, on every side. Nothing else goes inside that space, including a partner's logo and the edge of the page.
Do not go below 110 pixels wide on a screen or 28 millimetres in print. Below that the arcs in the mark merge, and the mark on its own is the better choice.
Please do not
- Recolour it, or use the on-dark files on a light ground.
- Stretch, rotate, outline it, or add a shadow or a glow.
- Put it on a busy photograph. The weave below has a dark side for exactly this.
- Type the name in a font to stand in for it, or set Fabric in the brush script. The script is for the family products only.
The Fabric family
Fabric, Fabric Harness, Fabric Tower.
Fabric is the product and signs itself with the wordmark. The family products carry the Fabric mark and their own name in the brush script, which is how a reader knows they belong together. TechFabric builds all three and runs its own delivery on them.

Colour
Black, white, and one crimson with three jobs.
The wordmark is white on black or black on white, never coloured. Crimson is a fill for marks, arrows and gates. As text it lightens on dark grounds and darkens on light ones, because the fill itself fails contrast as type on either.
- Black#000000The page ground. The wordmark sits on it in white.
- Charcoal#1A1A1ACards and product windows on the dark ground.
- White#FFFFFFHeadings, body copy and the wordmark on dark.
- Crimson#EB0600Fills only: the status dot, the arrow in a button, the pipeline gate.
- Crimson on dark#FF8577Crimson as text or a label on a dark ground, where the fill fails contrast.
- Crimson on light#B30000Crimson as text on a light ground, such as a document or a slide.
- Muted#8C8C8CCaptions, metadata and secondary copy on dark, never below 55% white.
Type
Three faces, shared with Heddle.
Headings are Archivo ExtraBold, tracked tight. Body is Inter. Short labels are JetBrains Mono. They are the same three faces heddle.pro uses, so the family of products reads as one. Product names in the family lockups are set in Archivo too.

Backgrounds and banners
The weave, and the shapes it is already cut to.
One image does most of the work on this site: crimson warp and weft on black, lit where the threads cross, dense on the right and dark on the left so a headline sits on the dark side. Below it, the same image cut to the sizes the platforms want.

The weave: warp and weft in crimson on black, lit at the crossings, dense on the right. Put a headline on the dark left third, as the site does.

Share card with the wordmark already placed. Use as is for Open Graph, LinkedIn, Slack and X unfurls.

Describing Fabric
The sentence we use everywhere.
Quote it as it is. It is the same paragraph on GitHub, on npm, on LinkedIn and in this site's own metadata, and it is written to be identical rather than polished for each place.
Fabric is an open-source AI software factory for software agencies. Each client gets a project with its own repositories, documents and coding instructions. Agents draft the requirements, specification and architecture from that context, and the team lays out the features on a roadmap, added by hand or pulled from the client's tracker. A person marks a feature's requirements complete and starts work on it, and a coding agent works it into a pull request your team reviews and merges. It is free to use with your own model keys, hosted at fabric.pro or self-hosted, and licensed Apache-2.0 by TechFabric.

Voice
How Fabric talks.
Plainly. These are the rules the site's own copy is checked against.
- Do
- Say what happens: an agent plans, reads, drafts, writes, reviews and checks.
- Don't
- Call anything powerful, flexible, seamless or robust, or say it will leverage, unlock or empower.
- Do
- Write headlines that are verb-led, concrete, two lines at most, and end with a period.
- Don't
- Write a headline that names a category instead of saying what happens.
- Do
- Talk about outcomes: a pull request is a pull request, and a run survives a restart.
- Don't
- Put internal agent names or infrastructure terms on a marketing page. They belong in the docs.
- Do
- Show only numbers that are already published with evidence: 10 to 3 and Apache-2.0.
- Don't
- Invent a metric, quote a testimonial without a source, or show the logo of a company that does not use Fabric.
Rules
Eight rules, and that is all of them.
Short enough to read, few enough to remember. The same list is in brand.json and in the README inside the zip.
- 01
Use the wordmark wherever it fits. The mark alone is for spaces too small or too square for the wordmark, such as a profile picture or a favicon.
- 02
Use the white files on black and dark grounds, the black files on white and light grounds. Do not recolour either.
- 03
Keep clear space around the logo of at least the height of the letter F in the wordmark, on every side.
- 04
Do not go below 110 pixels wide on screen or 28 millimetres in print for the wordmark.
- 05
Do not stretch, rotate, outline, add a drop shadow to, or place the logo on a busy photograph. The weave has a dark side for exactly this.
- 06
Do not set the name in a typeface to imitate the wordmark. The wordmark is drawn, not typed.
- 07
A family product is the Fabric mark followed by its name in the brush script. Do not set Fabric's own name in the script; Fabric is the wordmark.
- 08
Do not use the assets to imply that Fabric or TechFabric endorses or is affiliated with a product, a course or an event unless we have said so.
FAQ
Questions
Can I use the Fabric logo?
Yes, to refer to Fabric in an article, a talk, a partner listing, an event programme or a comparison, and to link to fabric.pro, without asking first, as long as you keep the rules on this page. Putting the logo on a product, a course or a service that is not Fabric needs written permission from hello@techfabric.com.
Which logo file goes on a dark background?
The on-dark files, which are white. On white or light backgrounds use the on-light files, which are black. Prefer the SVG wherever a tool accepts it and never recolour a file to make it work on the other ground.
Is Fabric a TechFabric product?
Yes. Fabric is built and supported by TechFabric (Tech Fabric LLC), which owns the trademark and fabric.pro. It is marketed as its own product with its own wordmark, and the family products, Fabric Harness and Fabric Tower, carry the Fabric mark with their own name in the brush script.
What is Fabric Harness?
Fabric Harness is the open-source TypeScript framework for durable agents that Fabric's own agents run on. It gives them the tool loop, sandboxes, checkpoints and the record. It ships as the @fabric-harness packages and is documented at harness.techfabric.com.
